Flight to Paro has one of the spectacular views of the Everest, Kanchen Junga and other Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Chomolhari and Jichu Drakey in Bhutan are awesome. On arrival to Paro airport you will be welcome by our representative and drive to Thimphu which is an hour drive. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel, after lunch we will visit National Memorial Chorten, stupa built in the memory of late 3rd king. Further we will proceed to visit National Textile Museum, Zhorig Chusum, school where 13 different arts are practiced and learnt. We will also step into nearby Folk Heritage Museum and perhaps time to leisurely walk the main street for some interesting Himalayan artifacts or textiles. Overnight in Thimphu

After breakfast, we will head to the north end of the valley to view Trashi Chhoe Dzong and further north to hike to Cheri Goenpa. The hike takes about 45 mins one way to reach the temple and trail passes through beautiful cantilever bridge and forest creating the chance to see birds and wild animals’ sometime. This is the monastery where the first monastic body was established in the Kingdom. Back in town to explore some of the remaining site like traditional paper making center, takin’s mini zoo and weaving centre.
Overnight  in Thimphu.

Depart to Punakha after breakfast. You will across Dochula pass (3,100m). On a clear day, the pass offers spectacular views over the greater eastern Himalayas including the highest peak of Bhutan. Dochula pass is about one hour from Thimphu, and then stop here for one hour beside the spectacular 108 Chortens at the top of the pass. On the way to Punakha you will stop for a short hike of about an hour to the temple of the Divine Madman, also well known as the “temple of fertility”. No visit is considered as complete without this temple. it was built by Lama Drukpa kuenlay the “Divine Madman” who was fond of woman and adopted unorthodox way of teaching Buddhism. He is also the saint who advocated the use of Phallus symbol. Legend has it that couple wishing to have baby from across Bhutan and occasionally from oversea are blessed with child after visiting the temple. Couple who visit the temple are blessed by a replication of the iron bow and arrow of Lama Drukpa Kinley, his scripture and Phallus which symbolic representation of fertility. In the afternoon visit Punakha Dzong built in 1638, Punakha was the capital city of Bhutan till 1955 and still the Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot, resides there during the winter season.

After breakfast start the drive to ancestral home of our royals, Trongsa. En-route we will take wonderful breaks at Pelela pass at 3300m and Chendipji before crossing Trongsa. On arrival in Trongsa, we will visit Trongsa Dzong. Overnight in Trongsa, altitude 2200m.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Ta-dzong (watch tower) recently converted into Trongsa Museum. En-route we will stop at weaving center, which is famous in the region. Evening we will explore the tiny chamkhar town. Overnight in bumthang, altitude 2650m

Bumthang is a very lush green valley with the highest concentration of the most sacred temples in Bhutan. Morning: – visit Kurjey Lhakhang, where Guru Rinpoche meditated during 7th century; Jambey Lhakhang built in 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gempo. Tamshing Lhakhang founded in 15th century by Pema Lingpa, the treasure revealer. Kencho Sum Lhakhang. We will visit a combination of state and private temples (that allow photographs inside the temple) Later see the Jakar Dzong. Overnight at Hotel.

Today you will have an early departure for the lengthy drive to Phobjikha via Trongsa a distance of 188km. Phobjikha valley is one of the winter roosting ground of rare bird Black necked cranes. Upon entering the valley we will pay homage to Gangtey Gonpa before checking into the hotel. If time permits you hike for short distance where you can have bird view of phobjikha valley. Overnight in Phobjikha.

Check out from the hotel after our breakfast and retrace our drive back to Paro via, Wangdue, Dochula and Thimphu. On arrival in Paro, we will visit national museum of Bhutan and Paro dzong. Evening you explore the tiny Paro town. Overnight in Paro. Altitude 2200m.

After breakfast drive to the base of Taktsang Monastery (Tigers Nest) the most popular tourist site in Bhutan. Then from the base hike to Taktsang takes about an hour uphill to the viewpoint and another hour to the monastery. Taktshang was the place where Guru Rinpoche meditated in the 8th century to subdue the evil spirit causing harm to propagate the Buddhism. En-route visit historic Drukgyal Dzong (Fortress) and Kichu Lhakhang. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Paro.

After early breakfast in the hotel drive to the airport for flight off to your own destination. We hope you had enjoyable honey moon and once again congratulate for the new life.
